MEET THE SPECIALIST

Roger Clemmons, DVM, PhD, DACVIM

Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Neurology and Neurosurgery)

Dr. Clemmons transitioned into private practice and joined the staff at the Institute of Veterinary Specialists in 2017. Dr. Clemmons graduated in 1973 from Washington State University as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. After two years of private practice in the San Francisco Bay area, he returned to Washington State University and obtained his PhD in veterinary science with a focus on neurophysiology. In 1979, he accepted a position on the faculty at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Florida, and is currently an Associate Professor of Neurology and Neurosurgery.
